Rental of Post 250 Hall - Information
Currently, we are taking reservations by visiting the clubroom in person during open hours (see contact us page for hours), and paying the deposit fee.
If you have questions about reserving the American Legion hall, you can send an email to post250@mokancomm.net and we will check the availability of the dates you are requesting. We make every effort to keep the reservations on the events calendar up to date, so you will be notified once we confirm the dates you have selected are available.
Below are the terms and conditions for renting out the Hall:

A $250.00 (members) or $350 (non-members) donation per day is required to rent the Legion Hall. $50.00 of this amount is a booking deposit due at the time of booking. The full rental amount is due prior to scheduled use. If this agreement is cancelled a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to the event, the $50.00 booking deposit will be refunded.

In addition, a $100 damage fee will be applied to cover any necessary repairs or excessive cleaning following the rental period. The $100 fee paid for the rental will be refunded upon successful completion of the post-rental inspection. The refund will be processed within two weeks of the inspection date, provided that all terms of the rental agreement have been met and no damages or excessive cleaning are required.

The Hall shall be returned to its original pre-rented condition. All tables & chairs will be returned to their original position, garbage cans emptied, & kitchen cleaned.

User will remove all personal property (equipment, decorations, food, supplies, etc.) at the conclusion of the event.

An additional fee will be charged for clean-up if the hall or the outside area is left excessively dirty and or littered.

User will be responsible for all damages to premises or equipment in the event of damage. An estimate will be obtained and the user will pay the amount of the estimate.

The maximum capacity of the hall is 200 and not to be exceeded. User will be responsible for all guests attending the event.

All alcoholic beverages will be supplied by the user and MUST bear the KANSAS STATE LIQUOR STAMP SEAL. The user must abide by and obey our city, county and state laws governing the premises. NO ONE under the age of twenty one (21) will be served or allowed to consume alcoholic beverages of any kind in the hall or on the Legion grounds.

Music must end no later than 1:00 am and the building vacated no later than 2:00 am.

Table decorations are allowed, however, no decorations of any kind will be attached to the walls, lights or ceiling. No birdseed, rice, or confetti will be allowed in the hall or on the grounds.

The use of Legion disposable supplies (paper plates, plastic ware, etc.) & food is prohibited.

The use of non-disposable kitchen utensils is acceptable but they are to be cleaned and returned to their storage area.

The premises will not be used for any illegal or unlawful purpose.

The American Legion reserves the right to inspect the premises at any time during the event.

A Legion family member is not allowed to rent the hall for use by a non-member.
THE AMERICAN LEGION WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES RESULTING FROM ACCIDENTS OCCURRING DURING OR RESULTING FROM THE EVENT.
THE AMERICAN LEGION WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF ANY NON-LEGION EQUIPMENT LEFT IN THE BUILDING OR ON THE GROUNDS AFTER THE EVENT IS OVER.
